Wiper Switch
Wiper Switch is a switch on a vehicle that is used to control the windshield wipers. Windshield wipers are devices that are used to remove water and debris from the windshield of a vehicle. The wiper switch allows the driver to activate the wipers when needed, to keep the windshield clear and improve visibility. The wiper switch is typically located in the car cabin, where it is easy for the driver to operate. It may have multiple modes, including slow, fast, single, continuous, and wash. The driver can choose the appropriate mode based on the conditions, to ensure the best performance of the wipers.
An aftermarket (AM) wiper switch is a control panel that is used to operate the windshield wipers on a vehicle. It is typically located on the dashboard of the vehicle and is used to turn the wipers on and off, as well as to adjust the speed at which they operate. Some wiper switches also have additional functions, such as a switch to activate the washer fluid spray, or a switch to operate the wipers in intermittent or continuous mode. Aftermarket wiper switches are produced by companies other than the original equipment (OE) manufacturer and are intended for use in the repair or modification of vehicles. They are often of lower quality and performance compared to OE parts, which are designed and built to the specific requirements of the vehicle manufacturer and are intended to be a direct replacement for the original part.
